Introducing AI Recommendations: Your Financial Blind Spots, Surfaced Automatically

Today we're launching AI Recommendations — the LEDGE feature that flags these issues before they become problems.
What AI Recommendations Does
AI Recommendations scans your connected financial data continuously and surfaces actions that are worth your attention. Not alerts telling you that something happened — recommendations telling you what to do about it.
The difference matters. An alert says "your burn rate increased by 12% this month." A recommendation says "your burn rate increased by 12% this month — here are the three expense categories driving it and here's what a 5% reduction in each would do to your runway."
Alerts create noise. Recommendations create decisions.
The Three Types of Recommendations
The first type is cost optimization. LEDGE identifies expenses that are higher than benchmark for your stage and size, subscriptions that are duplicated or underutilized, and vendor contracts where you're likely overpaying based on usage data.
The second type is revenue and retention signals. LEDGE flags cohorts that are showing early churn signals, customers who haven't logged in recently, and pricing tiers where expansion potential is going untapped.
The third type is fundraising readiness. LEDGE monitors your data room continuously and flags missing or outdated documents, financial metrics that have moved since your last investor update, and gaps that commonly come up in Series A due diligence.
How It Works
AI Recommendations is built on top of your connected financial data — your accounting software, your billing platform, your bank. It doesn't require any manual input or configuration. Connect your stack, and recommendations start appearing within 24 hours.
Each recommendation includes a plain-English explanation of what was found, the financial impact of addressing it, and a suggested action. You can dismiss recommendations that aren't relevant, and LEDGE learns from your feedback over time.
What's Coming Next
This is the first version of AI Recommendations. Over the coming quarters, we'll be expanding the recommendation engine to cover hiring decisions, pricing optimization, and go-to-market efficiency. The goal is to give every LEDGE customer access to the kind of proactive financial analysis that was previously only available to companies with a full-time CFO.
